ORNL public conference rooms are currently being upgraded with standardized displays, cameras, audio, and content-sharing capabilities for seamless integration and inclusive idea sharing for in-person and/or remote attendees.

Benefits will include:

• Single-touch start to get a meeting going faster.
• Wirelessly share your content to the room and remote participants from the laptop computer.
• Outdated projectors replaced with large, bright LED displays. In most cases two displays will be used, one for sharing content while also having a dedicated display for remote participants.
• New whiteboard camera technology for easily sharing collaborative ideas with remote participants.
• Cameras with AI intelligence, to better frame in-room participants automatically.
• Enhanced audio to remove ambient noise distractions, with enhanced room coverage.
• Provided table USB-C power, and/or outlets to charge your devices while in a meeting.

Upgrades are taking place in FY24 and being rolled out by building. Check out the transition schedule to see when your conference room is scheduled to be converted.
